Key Responsibilities of an Ambassador:
- Engage in meaningful community activities such as organizing events, speaking engagements, content creation, or mentorship, at least quarterly.
- Take advantage of the program’s offerings, including exclusive networking events, community-building exercises, and professional development sessions.
- Follow the established guidelines of the program while actively contributing to our shared goal of fostering an ecosystem where women in technology can succeed.
Program Highlights:
- Networking and Community Engagement: Join over a thousand Ambassadors worldwide, all unified in their passion for technology and diversity. This program allows you to actively contribute to your local tech community with Google’s support, organizing events, delivering talks, creating content, or mentoring.
- Exclusive Access and Recognition: Gain entry to Google-led initiatives focusing on leadership and technological expertise, and receive acknowledgement from the global Women Techmakers team for your contributions to the community.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be a part of this transformative program, applicants should:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate leadership in the tech community, with a minimum of one year’s experience in organizing events, speaking, content creation, or mentorship.
- Show a keen interest in skill development and Google technologies.
- Commit to actively participating in the program’s activities, dedicating approximately 10 hours per quarter.
How Ambassadors Make an Impact:
- Organizing Events: From meet-ups to International Women’s Day celebrations, Ambassadors create platforms for learning and connection.
- Speaking Engagements: Share your knowledge on various topics, including Google technologies, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and more.
