The KSH Foundation is proud to introduce an empowering opportunity for young female entrepreneurs with a passion for technology and innovative, sustainable ideas: the EveryGirl program. This annual initiative is targeted at young women aged 15-19 who are eager to make their mark in tech and related fields. The program is meticulously designed to provide these ambitious individuals with the training, mentorship, and seed funding they need to bring their visionary ideas to life.
Expanding on the success of the EveryGirl program, the KSH Foundation has launched EveryGirl; Girl Connect. This new venture is dedicated to enhancing internet access for young women in underserved communities, aiming to close the gender gap in digital literacy and connectivity. By focusing on the empowerment of young females through technology, the KSH Foundation seeks to foster an environment where more women can contribute to and thrive in the tech industry.
The EveryGirl; Girl Connect initiative offers a plethora of benefits, including a Virtual Phase of intensive internet literacy courses, followed by an immersive experience for selected participants. This includes an all-expenses-paid trip to Abuja for a five-day immersion, a laptop device, and a 90-day mentorship program. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics from content creation and cyber wellness to digital business setup and internet technology fundamentals. To be eligible, applicants must be females residing in Nigeria, aged 17-21, passionate about utilizing the internet for career development, and available for both the virtual training sessions and the immersion experience in Abuja. The application process is straightforward: interested and qualified young women are invited to apply through the provided link to the Khalil Suleiman Halilu (KSH) Foundation’s application portal. While the deadline is not specified, potential applicants are encouraged to apply promptly to seize this unparalleled opportunity to advance their tech ambitions.
