Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Google Conference Scholarships for African Students:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of application.
Open to university students and industry professionals.
Applicants should be citizens, permanent residents, or currently studying in the US, Canada, or Mexico.
Must be available to attend the entire conference.
Should be a full-time student enrolled at a recognized university in Africa in need of conference travel funds.
Must have a paper accepted at a top-tier computer science conference, particularly in areas of strong interest to Google. Visit research.google.com for a list of preferred research areas.
Applicants must be the sole or joint first author of the accepted paper.
