Prizes to be Won:
The ZNF Annual Essay Competition boasts attractive rewards for the most compelling essays, including:
- First Prize: N50,000
- Second Prize: N40,000
- Third Prize: N30,000
Additionally, two Honorable Mentions will be awarded N10,000 each. It’s crucial to note that any form of collusion or plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
Eligibility and Submission Guidelines:
To participate, you must be an undergraduate student at any Nigerian university. Those who have completed their NYSC by July 15, 2024, are ineligible. Each participant is allowed a single entry, and adherence to the specified essay format is required. Submissions must be original and exclusively through the designated form; direct emailing to the foundation is not permitted.
Selection Criteria:
The deadline for submissions is July 15, 2024, with winners announced on August 1, 2024. Essays will be evaluated based on criteria such as adherence to specifications, structure, logical argumentation, example usage, grammatical accuracy, and the strength of the conclusion. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
