World Trade Organization (WTO) 2024 Young Professionals Program (YPP)

Applications are now open for the 2025 World Trade Organization (WTO) Young Professionals Programme, a prestigious opportunity for qualified young professionals up to the age of 32 from WTO Members with low or no professional representation in the WTO Secretariat. This unique programme aims to enhance participants’ knowledge of WTO and skills in international trade issues, ultimately broadening the pool of professionals from underrepresented regions in the WTO and other international organizations.

Selected candidates will have the chance to work within a specific division of the WTO Secretariat based on their areas of interest. The program offers a one-year work experience without the possibility of extension. Participants can express interest in up to three areas of WTO work, such as trade policy analysis, climate change, trade finance, and more. Requirements include an advanced university degree in relevant fields, a minimum of two years of professional experience, fluency in English, and a strong commitment to international trade.

If you meet the necessary criteria and are interested in this exceptional opportunity, visit the World Trade Organization (WTO) website to apply. The application deadline is April 2, 2024. Female candidates are especially encouraged to apply, and preference will be given to nationals from developing and least developed countries with low representation in the WTO Secretariat. Don’t miss out on this chance to contribute to the global trade landscape and advance your career in international trade!
