World Bank Group Junior Professional Associates (JPA) Program – Young Graduates 2024


The World Bank Group Junior Professional Associate (JPA) program offers a two-year entry-level professional experience and first-hand exposure to international development. To be eligible for the JPA program, you must be 28 years of age or younger on your first day of service. You must also hold the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree and be fluent in English. Knowledge of one or more of the Bank’s working languages such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish is a plus. If you meet these minimum requirements, you are encouraged to apply online through the World Bank website.

If selected for an assignment, you’ll receive a two-year, non-renewable Extended Term Consultant (ETC) contract with benefits. Keep in mind that applications will be kept active in the database for six months, after which you’ll need to re-apply if still interested in the JPA program. Candidates are selected on a highly competitive basis by the hiring manager.
