WISE Prize for Education 2024 - Apply Now

For over a decade, the WISE Awards and WISE Prize for Education have recognized innovative solutions and individuals in education, highlighting more than 100 global players in the field. Since its inception, many of the award recipients have grown to become more impactful, contributed to the work of WISE, and scaled to new regions. The WISE Awards and WISE Prize for Education were founded with the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser to advance excellence in education.

Now, in 2024, WISE is launching the next generation of the WISE Prize for Education as one sole initiative, seeking to identify a group of finalists who will compete for the prize. WISE will provide support through capacity building and mentorship to organizations tackling new challenges in education.

The WISE Prize for Education is a coveted award, valued at $1,000,000 and partially funded. Organizations can submit a proposal that addresses one of three education challenges, and a shortlist of applicants will undergo a thorough due diligence process. An external committee of education experts will then identify 4-6 finalists. The finalists will develop their education solution over 12 months, receiving financial support of $100k – $150k to support the solution development. They will also have access to tailored mentorship to drive solution development, capacity-building for team members, and progress monitoring and support from WISE. The winner will be awarded the $1 million prize at the 2025 WISE Summit.

Any legally registered organization, including colleges, universities, academic networks, schools, civil society, community organizations, governments, international agencies, private-sector companies, and non-profit entities working in the field of education are invited to apply. The organization should be in operation for at least 12 months with established programs or products. Representation from any education sector, including pre-primary, primary, secondary, tertiary, EdTech, vocational training, higher education, special needs education, informal learning, lifelong learning, and more, are welcome to apply. Applications must be for original works and projects and should be submitted by a representative working within the project. All applicants should guarantee that their organization, or they, originate the project and should not hold WISE liable for any action or claim from a third party concerning the project submitted.

Interested and qualified organizations can apply through the WISE website before the deadline of March 15, 2024, 17:00 GMT. This is a great opportunity for organizations to receive support in developing their innovative education solutions and to be recognized on a global stage for their contributions to the field.
