Are you looking for an opportunity to pursue a master’s degree in the Netherlands? Look no further than the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) program, which awards scholarships to excellent students from both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA countries. The UTS is available for qualifying master’s programs offered at the University of Twente, including Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Design Engineering, and more.
The scholarship value ranges from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year, and approximately 50 scholarships are available. If you’re pursuing a two-year study program, you may be eligible for an additional UTS of an amount equal to the first year’s scholarship when you meet the process requirements.
To qualify for UTS, you must meet several requirements, including having a provisional admission letter to a qualifying UT master’s program starting in September 2024 and being in the top 5-10% of your class. Additionally, you must comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands, meet the general English language test requirement of Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the subscore of speaking skills, and not be eligible for a Dutch study loan.
The application process for UTS is separate from the application for course entry at the University of Twente. Once you’ve received a conditional admission letter, you can apply for UTS with your student number. Applications for Round 1 open on October 15, 2023, and the deadline is February 1, 2024, while applications for Round 2 open on February 1, 2024, and the deadline is May 1, 2024.
