The University of Manitoba Master’s Scholarship provides substantial benefits to its recipients. Master’s awards are valued at $14,000 per year for either 12 or 24 months, totalling up to $28,000. Similarly, doctoral awards are valued at $18,000 per year for 12, 24, 36, or 48 months, totaling up to $72,000. The specific value and duration of the award are determined by the departments or units, ensuring alignment with the outlined eligibility criteria.
To qualify for the University of Manitoba Master’s Scholarship, applicants must have a minimum admission GPA of 3.0, although some departments may require a higher GPA. Successful applicants must commence their awards in May, September, or January of the academic year.
