This nine-month initiative is designed for companies participating in the UN Global Compact, aiming to set and achieve ambitious corporate goals for women’s representation, equal pay, and leadership in business.
The programme supports businesses in making significant strides towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 5.5 and 8.5. SDG 5.5 focuses on ensuring equal representation, participation, and leadership for women in business globally, while SDG 8.5 aims to achieve equal pay for work of equal value by 2030. By joining this programme, companies will gain the tools and knowledge necessary to drive meaningful change in gender equality and inclusivity within their organizations.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the Target Gender Equality Accelerator Programme, companies must:
- Be committed to learning about corporate target setting and taking action to advance gender equality at the workplace.
- Be willing to appoint two representatives to participate in programme activities and an executive-level “ambassador” to support and engage in high-level events.
- Be currently engaged with a Global Compact Local Network or willing to join if required.

How to Apply:
Companies part of the UN Global Compact can advance gender balance, women’s leadership, and equal pay by signing up for the Target Gender Equality (TGE) programme. TGE operates in collaboration with Global Compact Networks in over 40 countries. To apply, fill out the provided form with your company’s details and nominated representatives.
