UNESCO Prize for Girls and Women’s Education 2024

The UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education celebrates remarkable and innovative contributions made by individuals, institutions, and organizations in advancing the education of girls and women. To apply for the UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education, nominations can be made by Governments of UNESCO Member States or official NGO partners of UNESCO, with up to three nominations allowed per entity. Self-nominations are not permitted. If you believe you, your institution, or your organization meet the criteria for nomination, contact your country’s National Commission to UNESCO or a relevant NGO in official partnership with UNESCO. The application deadline for the Prize is May 24, 2024, with the selection process culminating in the announcement of the laureates on the International Day of the Girl Child, October 11.
