Participants are invited to engage with one of three thought-provoking essay topics. The first topic, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Concerns, requires students to identify an ESG-related issue in their local community. The second topic, Nigeria’s Economic Challenges, calls for an analysis of recent events impacting Nigeria’s economy, their effects, and potential remedies. Finally, the third topic, Inclusive Finance and Its Impact, requires participants to define inclusive finance and explore how a finance and investment group like Emerging Africa Capital can significantly contribute to this area.

This competition will celebrate a total of nine winners, with three winners in each category. The winner of each category will receive N1,500,000, the 1st runner-up will receive N1,000,000, and the 2nd runner-up will receive N500,000.

To be eligible for this competition, students must be senior secondary school students at the time of submission and submit an essay of no more than 1000 words. Monetary awards will be managed by Emerging Dreams Trust and disbursed based on academic progression. All essays will be scrutinized for AI/plagiarism, and plagiarized content will lead to disqualification. Essays must be written in English, formatted in Century Gothic font size 11, with double line spacing, and justified alignment. The deadline for submission is March 31st, and essays must be submitted through a Google Form, including required personal details and the essay in PDF format.
