Are you an ambitious, resilient and committed individual who is passionate about transforming the Nigerian education system? If yes, then Teach For Nigeria (TFN) is looking for you! TFN is offering a fellowship programme for young professionals who are interested in working towards eliminating educational inequity in Nigeria. This two-year program will provide extensive leadership development training, intensive teacher training leading to a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, job and internship opportunities, access to a global network of change agents from 42 countries, and much more.
As a Teach For Nigeria Fellow, you will be part of a movement of young leaders working to eliminate educational inequity in Nigeria. You will have the opportunity to design and implement a social change project and access ongoing leadership development, coaching, business training and skills workshops. In addition, you will receive a stipend for two years, including during the school holidays, and have about 9-10 weeks of holiday.
To be eligible for this programme, you must be a Nigerian between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of application, a university graduate with a minimum of 2:2, have at least 5 O’Level credits with Mathematics and English, and have completed NYSC on or before July 2024.
The selection process for this programme is rigorous, and applicants are carefully chosen based on their leadership potential, openness to learning, and commitment to spending two years as a full-time teacher.
