The scholarships are offered annually to eligible students who wish to undertake any Bachelor’s degree except the Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting, and the Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting/Bachelor of Business double degree, or any Master’s degree by coursework or research.

The scholarships offer a course fee reduction of 10% to 75% every year for a maximum of four years for the Undergraduate Scholarship, while the Postgraduate Scholarship offers 10% to 75% off course fees every year for a maximum of two years for most Master’s degrees.

To be eligible, candidates must be citizens of any country in the world except Australia or New Zealand. Permanent residents of Australia are not eligible. All applicants must have achieved an academic result of at least 60% GPA Australian standard equivalent and should not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement from Swinburne.

Applying for the scholarship is easy, you just need to apply for your Swinburne course of choice, and when the University assesses your course application, it will automatically assess you for a Swinburne International scholarship. The deadline coincides with the admissions deadline, but offshore international students should take into account visa processing times before applying for their preferred intake and are strongly advised to apply at least three months in advance of their intake’s start date.
