One of the roles available in the program is for a Security Coordinator in Shell Nigeria Gas (SNG). The successful candidate will be responsible for the security of Shell’s human and physical assets in SNG, including offices, facilities, and projects. They will also be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing security escorts in SNG areas of operations.

In addition, the Security Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the activities of Government Security Agencies (GSAs), particularly the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Supernumerary (SPY) Police, and contracted Civil Guards to provide robust and fit-for-purpose security coverage. They will also manage all HSE issues in SNG security activities and act as a focal point for journey management in SNG security operations.

The successful candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution and at least 5 years of industrial security experience, including managing security in a complex environment. They will also have good verbal and written communication skills, be a strategic thinker with good data management skills, have demonstrable leadership skills and experience in leading and managing teams, and be a strong and committed team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
