The K.U. Leuven Faculty of Science is offering an amazing scholarship opportunity for international students who are interested in pursuing a Master’s Degree in the field of science. The Science@Leuven Scholarships are for those who are motivated and talented and want to participate in an international master’s programme of the Faculty of Science of the K.U.Leuven.
The scholarship is open to international students who have not previously studied or worked at the University of Leuven before, and who have a bachelor’s degree from a foreign university that gives them access to the master’s programme they are applying for. The applicants must also have excellent study results during their former training and a very strong knowledge of English. Additionally, the applicants must be willing to act as an ambassador for the programme.
The scholarship covers the tuition fee for one year, insurance, and basic health insurance coverage. The amount awarded for living expenses can vary and can be up to €12,000 for one year. For two-year Master’s programmes, the scholarship for the second master’s year will only be continued on the condition that the student had outstanding results in the first master’s year.
The application deadline is on 15 February 2024, and only applications that have been submitted before this date will be considered for the scholarship. Applicants have to apply for the Master’s programme of their choice through the application tool of the KU Leuven. When applying for the scholarship, applicants will need to upload a screenshot that they successfully applied for admission.
