The University of Oxford is offering the Reach Oxford Scholarships program for international undergraduate students who are unable to study in their own countries due to financial, political, or educational reasons. The program is available to students from developing countries who are nationals of countries that receive official development assistance from the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This program is only open to students who have received an offer and possess the highest academic ability. Financial need and social commitment are also essential criteria for selection.
The scholarship covers tuition fees and college fees, a grant for living expenses, and one return airfare per year. The duration of the scholarship is three or four years depending on the length of the course. The scholarship is highly competitive, and only 2-3 students are selected each year. Priority is given to students who have not studied at the undergraduate level before.
Applications for admission to the University are currently closed. However, to be considered for the Reach Oxford Scholarships program, students must apply to the University by October 16, 2023, and gain a place. After receiving an offer, students must complete a separate scholarship application form, which will be made available on the official website in January 2024. The scholarship application deadline will be announced, but it is typically in February.
