- A substantial prize of USD 100,000 for the deserving recipient(s).
Eligibility Criteria for NLNG Prize for Science Award
- The competition is open to scientists and innovators globally, regardless of nationality, who are leveraging science to introduce innovations that enhance healthcare treatments.
- Members of the Advisory Board or Panel of Judges, as well as their relatives, are barred from submitting their works for the Science Prize during their term of service and the following year.
- Employees of Nigeria LNG or their family members are not eligible to participate in the competition.
- The submitted work should demonstrate exceptional merit and contribute to expanding the boundaries of knowledge and/or present an innovative technology for mitigating the impacts of climate change.
- Entries must represent a completed scientific project, supported by either a proof of concept or tangible societal benefits.
- Each individual or group can submit only one entry, and all required materials must be submitted within the specified timeframe.
