Monash University Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships 2024

Monash University is thrilled to announce the opportunity for ambitious and exceptional candidates to apply for the Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. These scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to graduate research students embarking on their studies in the vital fields of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Raydon Scholarships offer a significant financial boost by topping up the RTP Stipend or Monash Graduate Scholarship, aiming to alleviate the living costs for students pursuing their research ambitions. Sponsored by Monash University in Australia, these scholarships underscore the university’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and research innovation.

With an annual allocation of six scholarships, valued at up to $22,600 each, these awards are open to both domestic and international students at the Masters level. The Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships are made possible through the generous philanthropic efforts of the Narodowski Investment Trust, reflecting a deep commitment to advancing research in areas that include but are not limited to, social justice, human rights, and environmental sustainability.

The scholarships available under this program include the Alex Raydon PhD Scholarship, two Alex Raydon and Nina Narodowski PhD Scholarships, the Max and Riva Radunski PhD Scholarship, the Sam and Nina Narodowski PhD Scholarship, and the Sonia Narodowski PhD Scholarship. These awards are also accessible to students engaged in Joint Research Awards with Monash University as their primary institution.

Eligibility for the Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships requires applicants to be either international students or nationals/residents of Australia or New Zealand, including Australian humanitarian visa holders. Candidates must apply within the current year and are evaluated based on their academic achievements, research outputs, and experience. Additionally, applicants must be conducting research in designated study areas within the faculties of Art, Design and Architecture; Arts; Education; and Law and meet Monash University’s rigorous scholarship selection criteria, including English language proficiency.

To apply for these prestigious scholarships, candidates should include their scholarship application with their course application—streamlining the process for those yet to enrol. Prospective applicants needing an Expression of Interest (EOI) from their intended faculty should obtain this before submitting their application. For detailed application instructions and further information, visit the Monash University website or contact the Graduate Research Admissions team via email at [email protected] or by phone at +61 3 99051538. The deadline for applications is October 31, 2024.

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to advance your research career with the support of the Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships at Monash University.
