Monash University, Australia, is offering International Merit Scholarships 2024 to international students from all nationalities who wish to study at the University. The Sir John Monash Scholarship for Excellence is awarded based on academic merit, and successful applicants will receive $10,000 per annum for the duration of their degree. The scholarship is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, with 31 awards given each year.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must intend to enrol full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia. Commencing students must have received a Monash offer, while current students must have completed a minimum of two semesters in Australia. Current students enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) course or the Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) course must have completed at least three semesters.

Successful scholarship recipients will receive $10,000 per annum (48 credit points of study) paid per year until the minimum number of points for their degree is completed. Beginning undergraduate students will also be invited to apply for a place in Monash Minds, a leadership program for first-year students.

To apply for the scholarship, you must submit a separate application form for this scholarship before the due date. Before applying, you must have applied and received a full Monash course offer with no conditions. The application deadline varies, and it can be deferred within the same calendar year only. Do not submit supporting documentation with your application, as this will not be considered.
