MasterCard - Young Africa Works EDC Transforming Nigerian Youths Program 2024

The Transforming Nigerian Youths program, brought to Nigeria by the Young Africa Works-Mastercard Foundation in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University, is a unique opportunity for Nigerian youths and women entrepreneurs to join a network of change-makers across the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in Nigeria. The program aims to build the capacity of 40,000 MSMEs with a special focus on the agriculture and creative sectors, especially women-led businesses in Nigeria. The training will be delivered via EDC’s online learning platform and IVR (Interactive Voice Response) to enable all learners to take part in the lessons on the go, wherever they are.

The Transforming Nigerian Youths program has several benefits for participants, including:

  • Transforming the mindset of Nigerian youths to become more entrepreneurial, equipping them to be self-employed or job creators.
  • Creating market access and providing support services to existing business owners, especially those being run by young people.
  • Changing the way learning or information is received in Nigeria through EDC Beam.

The application deadline for this program has not been specified. Interested and qualified individuals can apply by visiting Mastercard Foundation’s website at reg.smetoolkit.ng. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to join a network of change-makers and transform the MSME sector in Nigeria.
