Khalifa University of Science and Technology is offering comprehensive scholarships to support international students enrolled in postgraduate programs. The scholarship is assessed as part of the admission process, so applicants do not need to submit a separate application. The Khalifa University Postgraduate Scholarship provides a range of benefits to successful applicants, depending on the Tier of scholarships awarded. The benefits include tuition fee waivers, accommodation, textbooks provided by the University, medical insurance coverage, mobilization and demobilization flights, and coverage of UAE visa application fees for full-time international students.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements. For Master’s degree programs, they must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent, and have a minimum quantitative score of 150 in the General Graduate Record Examination (GRE). For Ph.D. programs, applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or equivalent, and have a minimum quantitative score of 150 in the General Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
Applicants must also provide a minimum of two referee recommendations, a statement of purpose, a research statement (Ph.D. applicants only), and proof of English proficiency. Application documents include certified copies of degree certificates, official transcripts, CVs, passport-style photographs, and copies of valid passports, visas, and Family Books (Khulasat Al Qaid).
