Are you a full-time student with a passion for healthcare and design? Look no further than the Johns Hopkins Healthcare Design Competition! This contest celebrates innovative design solutions in healthcare and provides an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills. With four different tracks to choose from, there’s something for everyone.

The four tracks for the competition are Designs of Solutions for Advanced Health Systems, Global Health/Humanitarian Design, Healthcare Apps/Digital Health, and Post-Surgical Infection Management. Projects must be focused on a healthcare application in one of these tracks and must have been started after January 1st, 2022. In addition, projects must be driven by full-time students, and project teams should comprise of more than one full-time student.

The benefits of participating in this competition are numerous. The first prize winner will receive $5,000, the second prize winner will receive $3,000, and the third prize winner will receive $1,000. In addition to the monetary prizes, the competition provides an opportunity for students to gain valuable experience and recognition for their work.

To apply, simply submit a two-page proposal by the deadline of February 12, 2024, through the Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering website. Finalists will be notified on March 18, and the final round will take place on April 13 in a virtual event.
