JOB DESCRIPTION
The County of Huron’s Social and Property Services Department is looking for a Full-time Housing Programs Coordinator to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the administration of affordable housing programs, transitional housing programs, housing development, and other federal/provincial housing programs assigned to the County of Huron. They will also provide support, advice, and guidance to housing providers with administrative requirements for operational reviews.

The Full-time Housing Programs Coordinator’s role and responsibilities include conducting housing provider operational reviews to ensure program compliance, participating in meetings and information sessions for housing providers, preparing reports and maintaining program-specific filing systems, promoting all aspects and requirements of affordable housing programs, and ensuring compliance with affordable housing program requirements.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements include a Two-year community college program in Office Administration and two years of experience in an office environment. Social services experience would be an asset. The successful candidate should have excellent computer skills, written and verbal communication skills, and be able to organize, meet deadlines, and set priorities.
