Are you a young person between the ages of 18 and 35 looking to expand your agribusiness enterprise or venture into agribusiness? The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in partnership with Bopinc and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands may have just the opportunity for you.
IITA Youth Agripreneurs is an organization that aims to assist young people in choosing a career path in agribusiness through its incubation platforms. The organization believes that agribusiness incubation is a viable strategy to transform the agriculture sector by paving the way for new, young farmers to enter the industry. IYA conducts incubation along some chosen value chains for young entrants to learn and commercialize agricultural commodities.
The partnership through the initiative – Youth in Agribusiness: Enabling scaling of innovative technologies for Sustainable Food Solutions (YAS) project will provide technical and business training for participants. This program is open to youths who have the required entrepreneurship skills to expand existing agribusiness enterprises (accelerators) or venture into agribusiness (incubators).
If you’re interested in this opportunity, the application deadline is February 9, 2024. Apply now by visiting the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) website on docs.google.com. Don’t miss out on this chance to develop your skills and make a difference in the agriculture sector.
