ICSP Scholarships at University – Oregon USA 2024-2025

Are you an international student looking for a chance to study in the USA? The University of Oregon is offering the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) scholarship to students who demonstrate financial need and exceptional merit. The scholarship has a cultural service component that requires students to give presentations about their home country to children, community organizations, and UO students, faculty and staff.

The ICSP scholarship is a partial tuition-waiver that is renewable each year to completion of a UO degree, provided the student follows the requirements of the program. While the number of scholarships available is not specified, it is open to all eligible programmes offered at the University.

To apply for the scholarship, applicants must be admissible or fully admitted to the University of Oregon, demonstrate financial need, and meet the minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement. Applicants cannot be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance.

ICSP students agree to complete 66-80 hours per year of cultural service as required by the program. The application process requires applicants to apply for admission to the University of Oregon before applying for the scholarship. An invitation to enter the UO Scholarship Dashboard will be sent to the applicant’s email within one week of applying for admissions. Applicants must submit the General Application, ISSS Endowed Scholarships Application, and the ICSP Scholarship Application together with their Reference Letters before 16 February 2024 by 4 pm (PST).
