Exciting Opportunity: Enhance Your Digital Journalism Skills with the 2023 News Corp Media Fellowship Program
Calling all journalists worldwide! The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), in collaboration with News Corp and The Wall Street Journal, is thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for journalists to elevate their digital journalism skills and work on data- and digitally-driven projects.
The 2023 News Corp Media Fellowship program is designed to provide selected fellows with digital innovation training, grant funding, and an exclusive virtual newsroom placement with WSJ. This program builds on the success of previous Fellowship editions, offering journalists an immersive experience in cutting-edge newsrooms around the globe.
As a News Corp Media Fellow, you will have the chance to contribute to WSJ projects focusing on audience engagement analysis, engage in peer-to-peer discussions, and forge new partnerships with WSJ teams. Additionally, you will embark on a one-week site visit to meet and collaborate with WSJ colleagues at their nearest bureau, all while receiving a stipend and having your expenses covered during your stay in New York City.
To be considered for this prestigious fellowship, journalists must participate in webinars led by industry experts, receive a news innovation grant, and demonstrate a strong news sense, collaborative skills, and a keen interest in audience engagement. If you meet these requirements and are ready to take your digital journalism skills to the next level, don’t miss the application deadline on March 24, 2024. Visit the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) website at icfj.tfaforms.net to apply and seize this incredible opportunity to grow and excel in the field of digital journalism.
