Announcing the Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi 2023/2024 Scholarship Programme! This initiative is targeted at the indigenes of Nasarawa state, particularly from the Karu, Keffi and Kokona federal constituency, who face economic and social barriers to accessing higher education. The programme is designed to develop the next generation of transformative leaders by providing the opportunity for talented, service-oriented individuals to pursue higher education and grow their leadership potential.

The Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship covers all expenses required to sponsor successful candidates’ education until graduation.
Requirements for Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship Program:
- Only open to indigenes of Nasarawa state from the Karu, Keffi and Kokona federal constituencies.
- Applicants must have applied to any public tertiary institution and have the full qualifications to gain admission.
- Directors, officers, and employees of the sponsor or the administrator, and any of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, and advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate families and household members, are not eligible to enter the scholarship contest.
- Applicants must be ready to register for a full-time program in January 2024.
- Applicants must prove that access to university studies is impeded by social and economic barriers.
Selection Process:
Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria unless otherwise specified:
- JAMB score
- Essay: thoughtfulness of response, relevance to the question, quality of composition, and grammatical accuracy
- Priority will be given to indigents and high performers!
- Single entry
