Global Excellence Scholarships At University College Dublin (UCD) 2024 – Apply Now

Are you an international student interested in pursuing a Masters at one of the world’s top universities? Look no further than University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland! UCD is the most popular university for international students in Ireland, and each year, they offer several Global Excellence Scholarships to non-EU students who are starting a course at UCD in September.

To apply for the Global Excellence Scholarship, students must first have received an offer (or conditional offer) to study in an eligible UCD course. Please note that the scholarship awards apply to full-time Master’s programmes, excluding all clinical programmes and Master’s programmes in the Smurfit School of Business, joint master’s programmes, online programmes and the MSc in Digital Investigation & Forensic Computing.

So, what are the benefits of the UCD Global Excellence Scholarships? There are two options available: a 100% Global Excellence Tuition Fee Scholarship and a 50% Global Excellence Tuition Fee Scholarship. In addition to providing financial assistance, this scholarship is also highly competitive. Successful applicants are likely to have obtained a first-class honours degree (For Masters). Scholarships are renewable annually subject to the student maintaining an annual grade point average of no less than 3.08/4.2 (upper second class).

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must be African, current residents of an African country, and classified as non-EU for tuition fee and application purposes. Additionally, applicants must be self-funding and classified as non-EU for tuition fees and application purposes.

The selection process for this scholarship is based on merit, paired with a holistic review of the scholarship application. The application deadline is March 31, 2024.
