Funded through the UK’s Blue Planet Fund, the OCPP Scholarships offer a unique opportunity for students from eligible countries to undertake fully funded Master’s or PhD studies in marine science.
The scholarships are aimed at supporting scientific research that will contribute to the conservation and sustainable management of marine resources. As a successful applicant, you will receive tuition fees, living allowance, research support grant, travel grant, as well as dependent, disability and maternity costs (subject to case by case basis).
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a citizen and normally a resident of one of the eligible countries, including Ghana, South Pacific countries, India, Bangladesh, Belize, and Maldives. Additionally, you should be working in or have significant experience of work in the areas of marine pollution, sustainable seafood and marine biodiversity. You should hold an undergraduate or bachelor’s degree and propose a research topic which is innovative, timely, and likely to lead to clearly demonstrated wider impact beyond the academic community.
