FMN Prize for Innovation Initiative Competition – Students And SMEs 2024


The FMN Prize for Innovation initiative is a platform established to promote new ideas and innovations in the food and agro-allied sector in Nigeria and across the continent, to create a sustainable food system in Nigeria. Through the PFI management team, Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc (FMN) will assess, review, and test the processes utilized by players in this sector, and provide winning ideas/content with the resources and support needed to boost their business sustainability progressively.

The third season of the FMN-PFI is focused on discovering innovators within the food and agro-allied sector that are actively and innovatively driving the attainment of food self-sufficiency in Nigeria. The competition is open to residents of Nigeria aged 18 years or over, except employees of the organizer and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition. There is no entry fee, and only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

The FMN-PFI awards a total of N10,000,000 to winners in two categories: registered businesses (Micro, Small & Medium Scale Enterprise Owners), and Nigerian students (Undergraduates & Post Graduates).
