Look no further than the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. This scholarship program is designed to attract top foreign students to enrol in French higher education institutions for their Master’s and PhD programs.
The program’s priority areas of study are science and technology, engineering sciences, mathematics and digital, biology and health, and the humanities and social sciences, which include French history, language, and civilization, law and political science, and economics and management. Applicants up to 25 years old from developing countries can apply for the Master’s level, while applicants up to 30 years old from developing and industrialized countries can apply for the PhD level.
The scholarship value for the Master’s level is a monthly allowance of €1,181 for 12-36 months, while the PhD level offers a monthly allowance of €1,700 for a maximum of 12 months. Other expenses covered by the program include international and national transportation, health insurance, housing searches, and cultural activities. However, tuition fees are not covered, but recipients of French government scholarships are exempted from tuition charges for programs leading to a national diploma or accredited engineering degree.
It is important to note that applications for the Eiffel Scholarships are submitted by French Higher Education Institutions, so students cannot apply directly. The application deadline to participating French Institutions falls around November-December 2023, while the deadline for applications to Campus France is 10 January 2024.
