Danish Government Scholarship – International Masters Students

The University of Southern Denmark, through the Danish Government Scholarship programme, is proud to offer a limited number of scholarships to highly qualified international students. The SDU Masters Scholarship is designed to recognize the importance of the investment made by overseas students during their education. The scholarship is available for two Master’s programmes in Sønderborg: Electronics Engineering and Mechatronic Engineering.

Benefits of SDU Masters Scholarship
The scholarship consists of two parts: a full tuition fee waiver and a monthly grant of DKK 3000 before taxes, which will help cover living costs. This generous scholarship is perfect for those who want to study in Denmark but require financial assistance.

Requirements for SDU Masters Scholarship
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a non-EU/EEA citizen enrolling in either Electronics Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering Master’s programmes in Sønderborg. It is important to note that you must submit your application for admission no later than February 1, even if you have a Danish residence permit. Your application must include all necessary documents at the time of submission.

Selection Process
The scholarship will be awarded to the best-qualified candidates based on the grade point average of their Bachelor’s degree and an online interview with key persons from the Master’s programme. You will receive an invitation to the interview by email once we have processed your application for admission. Interviews will take place between February 16 and 28. If you have applied for more than one of the programmes, the interview will be your highest priority.

Application Documents
Your application must include an application deposit fee receipt, official Bachelor’s transcripts and a diploma in English, Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian, which must include grades and ECTS/units/credits for each course, course descriptions for the courses on your transcripts, and proof of English language proficiency. All documents must be uploaded to your online application, and we do not accept any documents sent by email.

Application Deadline
The deadline for application submission is February 1, 2024.
