Attention all students from developing countries! The Austrian Development Cooperation Scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025 are now open for application! This funding opportunity is provided by the Austrian Development Cooperation to help cover tuition fees and living expenses for students who wish to study in Austria.
There are two types of scholarships offered by the Austrian Development Cooperation:

- Scholarship for ADC’s priority countries
- Scholarship for other developing countries
ADC’s priority countries include Ethiopia, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Bhutan, Palestinian Territories, Georgia, and Armenia. Meanwhile, the scholarship for developing countries is open to all developing countries.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, health insurance, and monthly pocket money of €205 for both types of scholarships. However, for ADC’s priority countries, the scholarship also includes flight tickets, accommodation, food from Monday to Sunday, and excursions (except for the field trip to ITB Berlin).
The Austrian Development Cooperation Scholarships is available for all study levels and can be used for any of the modules, including the Hospitality Management Module, Tourism Management Module, and Teacher Training Module.
Please note that the application process is highly competitive and being offered a scholarship is not automatic. Interested applicants are advised to download the ITH application form from the Austrian embassy or consulate and submit their application directly to the Institute via post. The deadline for submission is March 31st, 2024, and successful applicants will be notified by the end of April.
