The Austrian Development Cooperation through the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management offers about 30 scholarships to applicants from priority countries as well as other developing countries. The Austrian Development Cooperation Masters Scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for students to pursue a postgraduate degree in Austria. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, flight tickets, health insurance, food, excursions, and pocket money of €205 per month. However, students are responsible for covering visa fees, transfers from the airport to the hostel, travel expenses, and accommodation costs.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be between 18 to 35 years of age, have a secondary school leaving certificate, and possess a minimum of one year of experience within the tourism and hospitality industry. Non-native English speakers must have an English qualification such as TOEFL, Cambridge 1st Certificate, IELTS, or equivalent. Successful candidates must be ambitious, open-minded, and have good organizational and time management skills.
The application deadline for the scholarship is March 31, 2024. Applicants must submit a completed application form and all required documents, including a passport, birth certificate, academic certificates, transcripts, curriculum vitae, proof of occupation, recommendation letter, certificate of English proficiency, letter of motivation, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
