Australia Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships 2024-2025

The scholarship provides the following types of support to an RTP Scholarship recipient: an RTP Fees Offset, an RTP Stipend, and RTP Allowances. The RTP Fees Offset pays the tuition fees for a higher degree by research students while the RTP Stipend assists students with their living costs while they are undertaking their research degree. The RTP Allowances help with relocation costs, thesis printing and academic publication expenses, and health cover costs for the student and their dependents.

The duration of the scholarship is a maximum of two years for a research master’s or a minimum of three years, up to a maximum of four years for a research doctorate. The application deadline varies per university but is around April-October each year.
