Aston University is thrilled to unveil an exclusive scholarship opportunity aimed at fostering academic excellence among students from Africa and India. For the academic year 2024/25, we are offering seven scholarships, each valued at £10,500, thanks to the generous support of the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust. This initiative underscores our commitment to making UK education accessible to talented students who, without financial assistance, might not have the chance to study abroad.
The Ferguson Scholarships will benefit students who are eager to enrol in one of our specialized postgraduate programmes, including MSc Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, MSc Drug Delivery, MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, MSc Pharmacokinetics, MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine, MSc Psychology (Conversion programme), and MSc Health Psychology. These scholarships are a testament to Aston University’s dedication to advancing educational opportunities and supporting students in achieving their academic and professional goals.
Interested applicants must meet several criteria to be considered for the Ferguson Scholarship. Eligibility requirements include having a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the specified courses, being a national of India or an African country, possessing a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a related field, submitting a compelling personal statement with your course application, and financing your studies independently. The application process involves submitting a course application through our online form by May 30, 2024, and expressing interest in the scholarship using the specified online form. Final decisions will be communicated by June 28, 2024. It’s important to note that applications through agents are not accepted.
