APNI African Plant Nutrition Scholar Award 2024

Introducing the APNI African Plant Nutrition Scholar Award, an incredible opportunity for ten deserving African graduate students specializing in sciences related to plant nutrition and crop nutrient management. Each recipient will be granted a prestigious award of $2,000 by the African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI). This scholarship is a unique chance for students pursuing M.Sc., M.Phil., or Ph.D. degrees in disciplines like soil science, agronomy, or horticultural science with a focus on plant nutrition. The award is independent of any other financial assistance the student may have.

To be eligible for this distinguished award, graduate students must be enrolled in a degree-granting institution in Africa, with M.Sc. and M.Phil. students in their second year of study. As part of the application process, candidates are required to submit transcripts, letters of support (including one from their major professor), a detailed description of their research focus, and any additional relevant information. Past recipients of the award are not eligible to apply.
