American University is offering Online Program Scholarships to students admitted to eligible online Masters degree programs. The scholarships are available for students studying in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Communication, and School of Public Affairs. The eligible degree programs include the Master of Arts in Economics with Applied Economics Specialization, Master of Arts in Strategic Communication, Master of Public Administration and Policy, Master of Science in Health Promotion Management, Master of Science in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security, and Master of Science in Nutrition Education.

Only students with excellent academic records and exceptional leadership potential are eligible for the scholarships. The scholarship award is $10,000 for each student, and the cost of attendance varies per program. Candidates for each program must meet specific eligibility requirements to be considered for the scholarship.

To apply, students must complete the standard application materials along with additional requirements for students who completed degrees outside of the United States. The application deadline for the online program depends on the term applied for, and students are encouraged to contact the University’s online admissions staff for a specific timeline.
