Introducing the AKISAN Scholarship Program, an exciting opportunity for eligible students from polytechnics, colleges of education, and universities. This program is open to Akwa Ibom indigenes pursuing undergraduate degrees in recognized Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Under this program, 10 Akwa Ibom students currently studying in the USA will each receive an award of $500, while 62 students from Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education will be granted a cash prize of N100,000 each.
For those interested, the application deadline for the AKISAN Undergraduate Scholarship is March 31, 2024. The scholarship is partially funded and will allow recipients to study in American Samoa. Both men and women are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
To be considered for the AKISAN scholarship, applicants must meet certain criteria including being indigenes of Akwa Ibom State, enrolled in a public institution of higher learning in Nigeria and maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate students.
