Introducing the African Tech Startup Forum, a transformative Market Access and Acceleration Program dedicated to empowering tech ventures across Africa. This program conducted both virtually and in person, aims to showcase and support the remarkable tech innovations emerging from the continent. By collaborating with experts from Africa and worldwide, the forum creates an ecosystem that nurtures and propels tech ventures towards success.
Funded by the Korea Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC) Trust Fund through the African Development Bank (AfDB)’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab, the Africa Tech Startup Forum is a vibrant hub for innovation, collaboration, and growth within Africa’s tech landscape. The incubation program, a key feature of the forum, offers early-stage tech startups a nurturing environment with access to specialized resources, mentorship, and collaborative workspaces. This support helps entrepreneurs develop groundbreaking ideas and transform them into viable products and services.
Tech Ventures from various industries, including ESOs (Accelerators and Incubators) and Startups, are encouraged to apply. Eligible countries for participation in the program include Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, Egypt, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana. Applicants are required to create a 1-3 minute video introducing themselves, their business or project, and outlining their expectations from the program. The application deadline is April 19, 2024. If you are interested and meet the qualifications, visit the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) website at africatechstartupforum.com to apply and embark on a journey towards tech innovation and success.
