For the 2024 intake, forty students will be chosen, with each recipient receiving full Google DeepMind scholarship support during their time at AIMS. To be eligible, applicants must be African residents, citizens of any African country, and possess either a four-year undergraduate degree or a three-year degree with an honours year by August 2024. Previous AIMS scholarship holders are not eligible. Degrees in various fields like physics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, and engineering are considered, emphasizing computational and mathematical skills. The application deadline is March 29, 2024, with the final selection round featuring short online interviews in April 2024.
