Africa Blockchain Incubation Program: Nurturing Innovators Continent-wide 2024

Are you a young innovative mind with a passion for implementing blockchain technology to solve real-world issues? Do you aspire to drive positive change in your community through decentralization? The Africa Blockchain Incubation Program is calling on you to be a part of its 6-month incubator program designed to support and nurture the next generation of blockchain innovators on the continent. This is the 4th edition of the program that has successfully incubated different blockchain startups from across Africa.

Participating in the ABI Incubation Program has been a remarkable experience. The program has an extensive curriculum with great mentorship and access to resources for early-stage start-ups. The hands-on experience and practical learning have impacted the business strategy and decision-making of past participants, significantly accelerating their navigation through the entrepreneurial stage. The ABI Incubation Program combines mentorship, networking, and resources to provide participants with the help they require to succeed in various markets.

The Incubation Program is focused on fostering innovation and elevating Africa’s role in the global blockchain landscape. Selected participants will receive training, mentorship, and resources to help bring their ideas to fruition. The program offers access to a network of industry experts and mentors, the opportunity to DEMO your product, training sessions on blockchain technology and business/entrepreneurship, and regular check-ins and progress reviews with program mentors.

If you are between 20 – 35 years of age, dedicated, committed, and with strong backgrounds in computer science (with expertise in Object Oriented Languages), mathematics, statistics, business/entrepreneurship, economics, cryptography, blockchain, and any other related fields, we encourage you to apply. Both idea-stage and early-stage (1 year) companies are encouraged to apply. Priorities are given to female applications.

The selection process includes Open Enrollment for a Limited Time: 1st – 31st January 2024, notification of selection by this deadline: 1st – 28th February 2024, a 4-month program crafting and launching your blockchain projects: 1st March 2024 – 30th June 2024, Demo Day in June 2024, and post-incubation supports in July 2024.
