The Access Bank/NerdzFactory Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program (WDEP) is an innovative initiative aimed at empowering women in business with the essential skills required to digitize their businesses and position them for long-term market relevance and success. The program, which is funded by Access Bank PLC, with implementation from the Nerdzfactory Foundation, seeks to close the digital gender gap and encourage more women to start online businesses.

The WDEP is designed to promote women’s entrepreneurship and improve the economic outcomes of women. Participants will benefit from a comprehensive curriculum that includes a boot camp, webinar, and summit. These sessions will provide practical, hands-on knowledge, skills, and resources required to launch and grow a business online. The program will culminate in a pitch/grant competition, where the top three ideas/pitches from boot camp participants will be awarded prizes to aid their businesses.

The Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program is open to unemployed and underemployed women in Nigeria between the ages of 25-40 years. Minimum education levels of SSCE & OND are required, and applicants must be Nigerian female citizens with access to the Internet. The program will run for two weeks, with a hybrid/blended learning mode of physical and virtual classes. Physical classes will be held at Nerdzfactory Company in Ogudu GRA, Lagos, while virtual classes will be held on Zoom.
