To foster the development of human resources in developing countries and foster global harmony and understanding, the Polish National Commission for UNESCO together with the UNESCO Chair for Science, Technology, and Engineering at the AGH University of Krakow, Poland, has introduced an exciting scholarship opportunity. This initiative is set to offer thirty (30) fellowships to eligible candidates from developing Member States of UNESCO, to empower them through advanced research in the fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering.
These prestigious fellowships will enable recipients to embark on a six-month individual research program in Poland, starting from 1 October 2024 to 31 March 2025. This initiative not only aims to provide a platform for academic and professional growth but also to promote international goodwill and understanding among different cultures and nations.
The fellowship package includes several benefits such as free tuition, monthly allowances, a one-time special allowance upon arrival, and coverage of international travel expenses and health insurance by UNESCO. Applicants are required to have completed a Bachelor’s or M.Sc. degree and meet certain English language proficiency standards. The application process involves submission through the National Commission for UNESCO in the candidate’s home country by 10 May 2024. To apply for this transformative opportunity and more detailed information, candidates are encouraged to review the specific requirements and documents needed for the application and visit the UNESCO website for comprehensive guidance on the application process. This fellowship not only represents a significant step forward in one’s academic career but also a chance to contribute to the global community through science, technology, and engineering research.
