These grants are designed to support individuals in completing study courses and research/training programs at public or legally recognized Italian educational institutions. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Italian Government Grants:
- Application Process: Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Study in Italy portal.
- Documentation: Applicants must possess a valid passport or identity document and upload a legible photocopy at the time of registration, under penalty of exclusion.
- Academic Qualifications: Only foreign students and IRE with the required academic qualifications for enrolling in an Italian University/Institute are eligible.
- Age Requirements:
- Master’s Degree/Higher Education in Arts, Music, and Dance (AFAM) Programs/Italian Language and Culture Advanced Courses: Applicants must be of legal age and not exceed 28 years by the application deadline (born after June 14, 1995), with an exception for renewals.
- PhD Programs: Applicants must be of legal age and not exceed 30 years by the deadline (born after June 14, 1993), with an exception for renewals.
- Research Projects: Applicants must be of legal age and not exceed 40 years by the deadline (born after June 14, 1983).
- Language Proficiency: Adequate proficiency in the Italian language is required.
