Postgraduate Scholarships in Canada - International Students at University of Manitoba 2022 - 2023

Are you looking for an opportunity to pursue a Masters or PhD degree in Canada? Look no further than the University of Manitoba! The Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba offers more than 2 million dollars in University Graduate Fellowships (UMGF) annually to full-time graduate students (Master’s and Ph.D.) who have demonstrated superior intellectual ability and academic accomplishment.

The UMGF award is available to all students regardless of their citizenship. However, students must have a minimum admission GPA of 3.0 to be considered for the award. The scholarship covers any graduate degree programs offered by the University, except those in the Faculty of Medicine and the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

The UMGF Master’s award is valued at $14,000 per year for 12 or 24 months, up to a total of $28,000. Meanwhile, the UMGF Doctoral award is valued at $18,000 per year for 12, 24, 36, or 48 months, up to a total of $72,000. The application process and deadline vary per faculty, so it is essential to consult your Department/Unit for the application process and deadline. Once the Department/Unit determines their selection, students are recommended to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

If you want to know more about the scholarship and how to apply, please visit the official website at http://umanitoba.ca/faculties/graduate_studies/funding/umgf.html. Don’t miss out on this excellent opportunity to pursue your graduate studies at the University of Manitoba!
