One Young World is proud to announce a collaboration with the China-United States Exchange Foundation that will provide an exciting opportunity for eight exceptional young leaders from around the world. The CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship 2024 aims to identify and recognize young people who are making a positive change in their communities and driving forward progress on a global scale.
Successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship that will grant them the chance to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, Canada. This event is a unique gathering of young leaders from all over the world, and the scholarship recipients will be given full delegate access to the summit, including exclusive pre-summit calls with the CUSEF Young Leaders, development opportunities, and lifetime membership to CUSEF and the One Young World Community.
To be considered for the CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship, applicants must meet several eligibility criteria. They must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of the One Young World Summit 2024 and must have demonstrated a commitment to promoting East-West exchanges, as well as a proven track record of leadership and a commitment to delivering change by addressing key local and/or global issues in their work.
The scholarship will provide the successful candidates with a wealth of benefits, including private hotel accommodation at the Summit in Montreal, return travel to Montreal (flights in economy), ground transport to travel to the airport (if required), catering throughout the Summit, impact monitoring and tracking of projects, promotion and visibility of the work on social media, and the opportunity to act as a peer mentor for future cohorts of CUSEF Scholars.
