OMLA Fellowship Program 2024

The One Million Leaders Africa (OMLA) program has made remarkable progress in the past few years, training over 2,390 young minds in sustainable leadership and equipping them with essential skills in Social and Business Entrepreneurship. One of the most memorable boot camps was the OMLA 2023 Bootcamp which brought together 100 young Africans from farming communities. These 100 aspiring leaders were selected from 17 secondary schools in Ondo State, Southwestern Nigeria. The passion for the OMLA program is evident, with just over 100 applications received in 2022 and an astounding 2,000+ applications in 2023. The growing interest in sustainable leadership and the visible impact of the OMLA program is a testament to the quality of the program. With this momentum, the upcoming application cycles are expected to generate even greater interest and engagement. Be a part of this amazing opportunity, and join OMLA in crafting the next generation of sustainable leaders.

The OMLA Fellowship program is a one-year program designed to select OMLA Fellows who will receive a monthly fellowship stipend of $50 to cover the costs of the internet and other logistics incurred for training OMLA stars. In addition to the intensive training and network building, OMLA offers professional development support, including mentorship and $500 for professional development support, given at the successful completion of the fellowship year. To qualify for this program, applicants should be under 40 years old, fluent in English, based in Africa, have reliable access to a fast and stable internet connection, have the habit of reading, and be committed to it. They should also be able to read and give an assessment of at least 3 out of six recommended books within nine (9) months, be able to commit to at least one year as an OMLA Fellow (while still working), and be able to travel.

The application deadline for the OMLA Fellowship program is January 20, 2024. Are you interested and qualified? Apply now on the One Million Leaders Africa (OMLA) website at africa.omlglobal.org. Join the ranks of OMLA Fellows and be a part of the change the world needs.
