NL Scholarship - Non-EEA International Students 2024-2025

Are you an international student looking for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands? Look no further than the NL Scholarship! Formerly known as the Holland Scholarship, this opportunity is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, and is specifically meant for students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The scholarship awards €5,000 to recipients, which is intended to cover tuition costs for one year. Please note that this is not a full-tuition scholarship.

The NL Scholarship is available for eligible fields of study offered by participating research universities and universities of applied sciences in Holland. While the number of awards is not specified, it is open to a target group of international students from outside the EEA who meet specific eligibility requirements, such as never having studied at an educational institution in the Netherlands before.

If you meet the eligibility criteria, apply directly to the participating institution of your choice. The deadline for applications varies depending on the university but is either 1 February 2024 or 1 May 2024. It is important to check the website of the institution of your choice to confirm the correct deadline.
